New bungalows for 'veteran' seafarers
Retired Merchant Navy 'veterans' can now benefit from two new bungalows built for 'veteran' mariners at the Nautilus Welfare Fund's Mariners' Park in Wallasey.
The two-bedroomed bungalows - which each comprise a lounge, fitted kitchen, fully tiled wetroom, gas central heading and a garden - are now available, and in January 2019 two further two-bedroomed apartments will also be ready. The four units of accommodation were built specifically for veteran mariners and their dependants after a partnership between the charity and Seafarers UK secured financial support from the Aged Veterans' Fund.
Any veteran mariners interested in finding out more about these properties can contact the Nautilus Welfare Fund on 0151 346 8840, or email firstname.lastname@example.org, or write to The Nautilus Welfare Fund, Trinity House Hub, 21 Webster Avenue, Mariners' Park, Wallasey CH44 0AE.
